  • 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter
  • 1 c. Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Minced nuts
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 48 x Miniature marshmallows

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat margarine and 1/2 c. of the chocolate chips in 1 quart. saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, till melted; remove from heat and cold. Mix remaining chocolate chips, the melted chocolate mix and remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press 1 marshmallow in center of each Bake about 8 min or possibly till almost no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cook on wire rack.
  2. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
