- Preheat the oven to 200 C, 400 F, Gas Mark 6.
- Place the swede cubes into a large roasting tray. Drizzle over the extra virgin olive oil and dot with the butter. Add in seasoning.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25 min, stirring the cubes occasionally.
- 10 min towards the end of cooking time pour over and carefully fold in the maple syrup.
- Return to the oven and roast for a further 10 min.
- Notes Delicious served with roasted meat or possibly fish dishes.
- NOTES : Roasting give the swede a sweet caramelised flavour.
