Ингредиенты

  • 3 lb Top round roast to 5 lbs
  • 2 tsp Garlic juice
  • 2 tsp Onion juice
  • 1 1/2 c. Tomato juice warmed
  • 4 Tbsp. Sweet butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup - (10 3/4 ounce) undiluted

  1. Rub meat with garlic and onion juices. Put on a rack in a roaster and add in 1 c. tomato juice with butter melted in it. Roast meat at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, basting with tomato juice and butter at 20 to 30 minute intervals. During the last 30 min dissolve brown sugar in remaining 1/2 c. tomato juice and add in to pan. Raise heat to 400 degrees and baste every 5 - 10 min to brown. Season with salt and pepper before serving. Make a sauce by blending flour with soup, then stirring mix into pan juices.
