These are Red Lobsters Cheddar Buscuits with a twist, they are made in your Nuwave/Flavorwave Ovens. Note: I add all together. If I have extra cheese I top with a bit of shredded cheese. You want to take these out as soon as they are done. Otherwise they will keep cooking!

I followed these instructions to a tee, at power level 8 for 9 minutes, but they would not bake all the way through. I kept adding minutes, but still had issues. Maybe I had the pan at the wrong level. I used the 1 inch rack. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

P.S. I ended up baking these for a total of 22 minutes...the last 5 or 6 minutes on power level high just to get them to brown up.

PERFECTO!!! I lined the 4 inch rack with foil sprayed with Pam then formed the biscuits in a ring on top. Based on previous reviews I set the timer for 23 min on 80% Pwr and let er run. At 10 Min I noticed all the outer rolls were not browning evenly so I paused to rotate each one 180 Deg. (not turning over). Be careful as they are HOT. Then at 15 Min I covered them with foil to prevent over browning. When finished I brushed on the butter, they were done to perfection...

          • I made these in the NuWave and they turned out wonderful! I made them as directed on 80% heat for 8 minutes. I then flipped the biscuits and cooked for another 8 minutes on 80% heat. It was a little tricky to flip them, but they were delicious and well worth it!

I have baked this recipe, as well as the boxed version by Red Lobster sold at Sams Club. While I love my Nu Wave, everything I bake seems to take twice as long as any recipe calls for. To get these done in the middle (not doughy) it took 21 minutes on 8, another time I did it on full power for 15 minutes. I love the Nu Wave for meats, but so far not real fond of it for baking

I was thinking they might cook better directly in the bottom pan and flip half way through.

Thank you so much. I look forward to trying your recipe as I do love their biscuits. No, I just got my nuwave set up and in any oven I've ever cooked in, (in 50 years and starting when I was around six) I've always baked biscuits first so I can learn the oven. On the nuwave I was totally stumped, just ten minutes out of the box and I basically had to do this first batch blind. Thanks to your recipe, I see what I need to do to get those centers cooked through. (I was gonna wind up making a few batches to figure out what power level) Thanks to you sharing your recipe, my next batch will be perfect without having to experiment! Thanks again! J
