- 1/2 lb strawberries rinsed, hulled
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice

- Place the strawberries, sugar and orange juice in the work bowl of a food processor and pulse 4 or possibly 5 times just to chop them small. Do not puree.
- Transfer the mix into a small nonstick skillet and cook over medium-high heat till it begins to thicken, about 5 min. Set aside till ready to use. This sauce is good served on pancakes.
- This recipe yields 1 c. for 8 servings.
