- Pumpkin Bread Pudding (slightly adapted from Epicurious)
- 1 cup heavy cream ( half and half works well too)
- 3/4 cup canned solid pack pumpkin
- 1/2 cup whole milk (I use 2%)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, plus 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- pinch of ground cloves
- 5 cups cubed day old baguette or crusty bread ( I use 4 cups to get more custard)
- 3/4 cup melted butter (6 tablespoons)
