,%20BUT%20I%20still%20have%20a%20few%20months%20to%20get%20going%20before%20spring%20arrives%20in%20Atlanta,%20and%20my%20white%20skinny%20jeans%20and%20sleeveless%20shirts%20come%20out.%20%20So%20a%20few%20readers%20have%20asked%20what%20will%20I%20be%20eating%20while%20trying%20to%20lose%20weight.%20%20I%20have%20posted%20a%20few%20of%20my%20favorite%20healthy%20dinners,%20but%20breakfast%20and%20lunch%20have%20always%20been%20a%20little%20more%20challenging%20for%20me.%20%20After%20all,%20who%20has%20time%20to%20prepare%20anything%20very%20exciting%20at%208%20in%20the%20morning,%20or%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20the%20day?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20is%20one%20of%20my%20favorite,%20newly%20discovered%20products....Ezekiel%20Sprouted%20Grain%20bread,%20and%20it%20really%20helps%20me%20eat%20a%20healthy%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20product%20has%20been%20around%20for%20as%20long%20as%20I%20have%20been%20shopping%20in%20health%20food%20stores.%20%20I%20always%20saw%20it%20in%20the%20bakery%20aisle,%20but%20would%20wonder%20,%22What%20the%20heck%20is%20'sprouted%20grain%20bread'?%22%20%20It%20just%20sounded%20way%20too%20%22out%20there%22%20for%20me.%20%20Well...over%20the%20past%20few%20weeks,%20I%20have%20been%20pouring%20over%20some%20of%20my%20fellow%20blogger's%20sites%20(the%20ones%20who%20focus%20on%20healthy%20living),%20to%20get%20some%20meal%20ideas,%20and%20I%20discovered%20that%20almost%20every%20one%20of%20them%20eats%20this%20bread.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20time%20I%20was%20in%20Whole%20Foods,%20I%20purchased%20the%20Ezekiel%20Sprouted%20Grain%20English%20Muffins%20(they%20are%20located%20in%20the%20freezer%20section).%20%20I%20could%20see%20another%20reason%20why%20I%20would%20have%20passed%20it%20up,%20it%20is%2080%20calories%20for%20HALF%20of%20the%20English%20Muffin!%20%20%20I%20could%20eat%20a%20whole%20Thomas's%20for%2080%20calories!%20%20When%20I%20got%20home,%20I%20went%20to%20the%20Food%20for%20Life%20website%20(the%20company%20that%20makes%20Ezekiel%20bread)%20to%20find%20out%20what%20the%20deal%20on%20'sprouted%20grain'%20is.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEzekiel's%20Sprouted%20Grain%20and%20Seed%20Breads%20are%20flourless,%20organic,%20and%20made%20from%20six%20whole%20grains%20and%20legumes.%20%20This%20combination%20has%20made%20this%20bread%20a%20complete%20protein.%20%20The%20protein%20in%20this%20bread%20is%20parallel%20to%20the%20protein%20found%20in%20milk%20and%20eggs!%20It%20is%20also%20fat%20free%20and%20loaded%20with%20fiber,%20vitamins%20and%20minerals.%20%20I%20could%20see%20why%20all%20my%20nutrition%20blogging%20friends%20live%20on%20this%20stuff.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20how%20can%20this%20help%20me%20lose%20those%20last%2010%20pounds?%20%20Since%20these%20breads%20contain%20protein,%20they%20keep%20me%20full%20for%20the%20entire%20morning.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20was%20my%20breakfast%20yesterday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHalf%20of%20a%20toasted%20Ezekiel%20English%20Muffin%20(they%20taste%20much%20better%20toasted),%201%20tablespoon%20of%20almond%20butter%20and%201%20tablespoon%20of%20strawberry%20Simply%20Fruit.%20%20This%20was%20a%20200%20calorie%20breakfast%20that%20was%20loaded%20with%20protein,%20contains%20no%20added%20sugar,%20no%20salt%20and%20was%20delicious!%20%20I%20ate%20it%20slowly,%20while%20I%20was%20getting%20dressed%20and%20watching%20the%20Today%20show.%20%20I%20finished%20it%20around%209am.%20%20I%20didn't%20even%20think%20about%20lunch%20until%20after%201,%20which%20is%20unusual%20for%20me,%20because%20in%20that%20time%20I%20had%20an%20insanely%20hard%20power%20yoga%20class%20and%20went%20grocery%20shopping.%20%20Those%20are%20both%20activities%20that%20usually%20make%20me%20super%20hungry.%20%20By%20the%20time%20I%20was%20ready%20for%20lunch,%20I%20still%20wasn't%20starving,%20and%20was%20able%20to%20take%20the%20time%20to%20prepare%20the%20fruit%20smoothie%20I%20was%20craving%20(skim%20milk,%20flaxseed,%201/2%20banana,%20frozen%20berries,%20peaches%20and%20melon,%20one%20scoop%20of%2080%20calorie,%2018%20gram%20protein%20vanilla%20protein%20powder).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20here%20it%20is,%202pm,%20I%20have%20had%20just%20under%20500%20calories%20of%20high%20quality,%20healthy%20food,%20that%20is%20high%20in%20fiber%20and%20protein.%20%20I%20haven't%20experienced%20any%20hunger,%20and%20still%20have%20plenty%20of%20calories%20left%20to%20use%20in%20my%20day%20for%20a%20snack%20later%20and%20dinner.%20%20In%20addition,%20the%20food%20I%20have%20eaten%20today%20hardly%20cost%20any%20money.%20%20The%20frozen%20fruit%20is%20from%20Costco,%20the%20almond%20butter%20is%20from%20Trader%20Joe's%20and%20the%20protein%20powder%20is%20less%20than%2075%20cents%20per%20scoop.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20could%20have%20this%20bread%20along%20side%20an%20egg%20white%20omelette,%20a%20bowl%20of%20oatmeal,%20or%20with%20a%20smear%20of%20cream%20cheese.%20%20Use%20it%20on%20any%20sandwich,%20and%20you%20have%20automatically%20made%20it%20more%20nutritious%20and%20way%20more%20filling!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESometimes,%20just%20starting%20off%20the%20day%20right,%20can%20get%20a%20really%20healthy%20day%20jump%20started.%20%20White%20skinny%20jeans....I'll%20see%20you%20in%20two%20months!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
