- Pour flour into large bowl. Add eggs and water; mix well. Knead dough until smooth. Roll dough with rolling pin. Cut with large round cookie cutter. Fill dough with 1 tablespoon of Cheese or Sauerkraut Filling. Drop into boiling water, salted, for about 5 minutes; drain. Saute 1 large onion (chopped) and 1 stick of butter 3 to 5 minutes. Place mixture on Sauerkraut Pierogi or melt 1 stick of butter to pour on Cheese Pierogi.
- CHEESE FILLING:
- 1 lb. Farmers cheese
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
- Mix cheese, egg, and salt together. If cheese is dry, add a little milk; mix well.
