Pickled Eggs

A good way to enjoy hard boiled eggs.

Ингредиенты

  • 1 doz. hard-boiled Large eggs
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon mixed pickling spices
  • Red pepper (opt.)
  • Garlic clove (opt.)

Инструкции

  1. Peel hard-boiled Large eggs and place in jar large sufficient to hold all the ingredients.
  2. Place red pepper and garlic in the jar with the Large eggs.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan and simmer for about 5 min.
  4. Strain the liquid and pour over the Large eggs in the jar.
  5. Screw on lid and store in refrigerator until ready to eat about 2 to 3 days.
