- 1 pkt (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. (4 ounce) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. (4 ounce) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 6 x bacon strips, cooked & crumbled
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chili pwdr
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 lb Jalapenos, halved lengthwise & seeded
- 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs

- Lowfat sour cream, onion dip, or possibly ranch dressing (your choice)
- In a mixing bowl, combine bacon & seasonings; mix well.
- Spoon about 2 Tbs into each pepper half. Roll in bread crumbs. Place in greased 15x10x1" baking pan.
- Bake, uncovered at 300 degrees for 20 min for mild flavor, 30 min for medium flavor, or possibly 40 min for Warm.
- Serve poppers with lowfat sour cream, onion dip, or possibly ranch dressing.
- YIELD: 2 dozen
