Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (helps biscuits brown)
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 5 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 1/4 c. buttermilk

Инструкции

  1. Mix all dry ingredients, cut in shortening (small pea size). Add in buttermilk, blend, turn out on well floured board, pat out to about 1/2" thick, cut with biscuit cutter or possibly small empty tomato sauce can. Bake in well greased pan at 425 degrees till golden.
