- 1 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. finely minced pecans
- About 1 c. confectioners' sugar for coating

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter till fluffy. Add in sugar and continue beating, add in vanilla. Gradually blend in flour and nuts. Batter should be stiff, not sticky. Chill if it is too sticky. Form into small crescent or possibly ball shapes, about a heaping tsp. of dough.
- Bake 12 to 15 min till slightly browned. Cold about 3 to 5 min then remove to a large bowl where cookies are rolled in confectioners' sugar. Cold on brown paper. Makes 4 dozen.
