- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 can (1 pound, 12 ounces) whole tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 2 T tomato paste
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1/2 t dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 t dried basil leaves
- 2 t sugar
