- 1/2 c. butter (Crisco type)
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 box (10 ounce.) miniature chocolate covered peanut butter c.

- Cream butter, peanut butter and both kinds of sugar together. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mix to make a dough. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place in ungreased 1 1/2 inch muffin tins (the small type). Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min or possibly till lightly browned. Immediately after removing cookies from the oven press a miniature peanut butter c. into the center of each cookie till only the top of the peanut butter c. shows. Let cold for 10 min then remove from muffin tins. Store in airtight containers. Makes about 40 to 48.
