Ингредиенты

  • 3 x -lb. frying chicken (disjointed, skinned)
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 sm onion, sliced
  • 2 x garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp. raisins
  • 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate (optional)
  •     Salt, to taste

Инструкции

  1. Brown chicken parts in oil in a large covered frying pan. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add in onion to pan and saute/fry till golden. Stir in garlic, sesame seeds, cinnamon and chili pwdr. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 1 minute.
  3. Add in chicken broth and stir to incorporate browned bits in bottom of pan. Pour into a blander or possibly food processor. Add in peanut butter and raisins (and chocolate).
  4. Process to a smooth puree. Return sauce to frying pan. Season with salt, if necessary.
  5. Add in chicken parts (except the breast) and simmer, covered, for 15 min.
  6. Add in breast pcs and simmer 10 to 15 min, or possibly till chicken is tender. Serve with steamed rice flavored with chopped bell pepper.
  7. Serves 4.
