Peanut Butter and Chocolate are my newest obsession. Just like these Peanut butter Chocolate Banana Swirl Mini Loafs.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Banana Mini Loafs

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.

In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate spread and peanut butter. DO NOT combine.

Microwave on high until melted, about 30 seconds. DO NOT STIR

Combine the oil, butter, brown sugar and banana in a large bowl, and beat with a mixer on medium-high speed until well combined.

Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, dried buttermilk and salt

With the mixer running at low speed, add the flour mixture alternately with the water to banana mixture, beginning and ended with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Spray mini loaf pans with non stick spray.

Pour half of the batter each loaf pan. Top with peanut butter chocolate spread mixtures. Spread the remaining batter over the top. Top with more peanut butter chocolate spread mixture. Using a wooden pick or knife, gently swirl the batter.

Bake for 22 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs clinging.

Cool 10 minutes in the pan on a wire rack.

Remove the bread from the pan, then allow to cool completely on rack.

Remember I told you all that I have been neglecting the blog? This morning I woke up and made two kinds of mini loafs. The peanut butter chocolate swirl banana bread and a Rocky Road bread (coming soon). Then later that evening I made Salted Caramel Martini’s (coming soon too). Oh YUM.

But the whole chocolate and peanut butter combo has just taken on a life of its own. All because Klout sent me a free jar of Hershey’s Chocolate Spread. Thankyouverymuch!

I better start wrapping my little, err big, head around some great salad recipes soon. I did commit to 30 days no dessert recipes on the blog for January. Okay fine 31 days.

Are you all going to have 31 days of no dessert with me too? Can you do it? I will let you know my success. I am not going to say or failure because I need to think positive. Right?

Alright then. Carry on.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Marlene
