- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 c. butter

- Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter with blender or possibly pastry knives into coarse crumbs. Mix 4 c. peeled sliced fresh peaches with 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind.
- Press 1 c. mix into bottom and sides of buttered pan. Spoon peach mix over crumbs. Cover with rest of crumbs mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 min.
