  • 2 c. Diced peaches
  • 2/3 c. Sugar, less for canned
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted

Инструкции

  1. Mix together the peaches and sugar. Heat slowly (in a saucepan or possibly microwave) till the sugar is melted. Make sure the peaches are quite juicy, if not, add in a bit of water; set aside
  2. For the batter. Mix dry ingredients; add in lowfat milk then butter. Mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into a greased 8X8" (2 inches deep) pan.
  3. Pour peaches and juice on top.
  4. Bake for 40 min at 350, until lightly brown and juice is absorbed.
  5. If you double this recipe you can bake it in a 13 by 9 inch pan for about the same time.
