  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 c. Shortening
  • 6 Tbsp. Water, cool
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 4 tsp Sugar, granulated

Инструкции

  1. Be sure all ingredients and tools are Cool!
  2. Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add in water, tossing with fork till a ball forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll pastry into rectangle. Place over filling, cut slits in top. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
