Panfried Lamb With Caramelized Onions, Bacon And Parmesan

Ингредиенты

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 15 gm Butter, ( 1/2oz)
  • 1 pch sugar
  • 2 x Onions, minced
  • 8 x Lamb loin chops
  • 50 gm Smoked streaky bacon, derinded and finely minced (2oz)
  • 25 gm Freshly grated parmesan, (1oz)
  • 1 Tbsp. Freshly minced parsley

Инструкции

  1. Heat half the oil with the butter in a saucepan. Add in the sugar and onions and cook over a gentle heat for 20-25 min adding the bacon after 10 min and stir occasionally till lightly golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile heat the remaining oil in a frying or possibly griddle pan, add in the chops and cook for approximately 20 min, turning occasionally till cooked and golden brown.
  3. Transfer the chops to a warmed serving plate and spoon over the caramelized onion and bacon mix. Sprinkle over the parmesan and parsley and serve immediately.
  4. NOTES : The sweetness of the onions and smokiness of the bacon compliment the lamb perfectly.
