Ингредиенты

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 x cloves large garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp onion pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp grnd black pepper

  1. Put flank steak in the freezer for about 30 min, or possibly till hard, but pliable. Slice the steak very thinly across the grain, about 1/8-inch thick. Or possibly, ask your butcher to do it for you when you purchase the meat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion pwdr, salt and black pepper. Mix well and combine with meat and chill for at least 2 hrs.
  3. Preheat oven to180 F. Place meat on a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake for 12 hrs, or possibly till meat is dry (it should bend, but not snap). Store in an airtight container when cold.
  4. Makes 6 servings.
