- 1 c. Golden brown crisco shortening
- 1 c. Lightly-packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2Â 1/2 c. Quick oats
- 1 c. All-purpose flour
- Â Â Or possibly whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Minced nuts
- 1 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chunks
- Â Â Or possibly chips
Инструкции
- 1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- 2. Cream Golden brown Crisco Shortening, sugars and Large eggs in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer or possibly with wooden spoon till light and creamy, about 2 min.
- 3. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt.
- 4. Add in to creamed mix, beating on low speed or possibly with spoon till well blended, about 1 minute.
- 5. Stir in nuts and chocolate chunks or possibly jumbo chips.
- 6. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls, about 1 tbsp (15 mL)
- per cookie onto ungreased baking sheet.
- 7. Bake at 375F (190C) for 8 to 10 min, or possibly till golden.
