Ингредиенты

  • Dough:
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • Potato Filling:
  • 9 potatoes
  • 2 T. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • Egg Wash:
  • 1 beaten egg

Инструкции

  1. Mix all the dough ingredients and set aside.
  2. Mix all the filling ingredients.
  3. Divide the dough into two balls.
  4. Roll out each ball of dough in to 4x15-inch rectangles.
  5. Place half of filling on each rectangle.
  6. Wrap the dough around the filling and squeeze tightly.
  7. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  8. Cut slits in each knish.
  9. Bake at 350 F. for 50 minutes.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
