- Sprinkle gelatin over skim lowfat milk in a small saucepan and allow gelatin to soften for a few min. Stir mix over low heat till gelatin completely dissolves. Remove from heat and place saucepan in another bowl of cool or possibly ice water to cold to room temperature. Combine remaining ingredients in a blender or possibly food processor and process till well combined.
- Add in lowfat milk-gelatin mix and blend for a few more seconds. Refrigeratein refrigerator till ready to freeze. Blend for a few seconds before pouring mix through a strainer into the ice cream maker. Follow instructions for freezing.
- Makes about 1 qt.
