Morning Glory Muffins

These are my favourite muffins. They are healthy, full of fiber, tasty and filling. You will love them for breakfast.

Ингредиенты

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour or spelt flour
  • 1 cup oats, regular
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bran flakes
  • 1/4 cup all brand buds (cereal)
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of fruit or vanilla yogourt
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sultana raisins
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup walnut pieces or slivered almonds
  • 3 tbsp grounded flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts (optional)

Инструкции

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. In another large bowl mix all the wet ingredients.
  2. Incorporate the dry ingredients to the dry ingredients with a wooden spoon or with an electric mixer.
  3. Oil a muffin pan with Pam. Spoon in the mixture into the 12 muffins tin. Bake at 350 degrees F, 25 to 26 minutes.
  4. Cool and serve or freeze when cooled.
