Рецепт Mor Kuzhambu | Yoghurt coconut gravy
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Buttermilk
- 6-7 cubed Pumpkin (1)
- Salt for taste
- To Grind
- 6-7 Tbsp Grated coconut
- 2-3 no's Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Tbsp Raw Rice (2)
- 1/2 Tbsp Toor Dahl
- To Temper
- 1 Tbsp Coconut oil (3)
- 4-5 no's Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Split urad dahl
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Instructions
Soak all the ingredients (except grated coconut) mentioned under "To grind" in water for about 10 minutes. Drain the water and grind it to a smooth paste.
In a saucepan add buttermilk, turmeric powder, cooked veggie and ground paste. Keep it on the stove until it starts to foam on top. Immediately remove it from the heat.
In a pan heat coconut oil over medium heat and once it is hot, add the mustard seeds. Once it splutters, add the curry leaves, urad dahl and once it starts browning turn off the heat and add turmeric powder and asafoetida.
Pour this over the kuzhambu and add salt just before serving. (4)
