- About ¼ cup cornstarch for dredging the beef in
- About 3-4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- Scant ¼ teaspoon ground ginger or to taste
- 2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup water
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch to thicken the sauce (optional)
- 2 large green onions cut into 1 inch pieces
- Cut the beef into strips about an inch wide. Place the ¼ cup cornstarch in a shallow bowl
- and dredge the beef in it. Place the
