Ингредиенты
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon hot water
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Additional sugar
- Melted semisweet chocolate, optional
Инструкции
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and the sugar until fluffy
- Add the vanilla
- Dissolve the coffee granules in the water
- Add to the creamed mixture with the cocoa
- Add the flour
- Mix well
- Stir in the cherries and the walnuts
- Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls
- Roll in the sugar
- Place on ungreased baking sheets
- Bake at 325 F for 20-22 minutes
- Cool on wire racks
- Drizzle with the chocolate, if desired

09 декабря 2023I must've done something wrong while mixing because they were terrible. Coffee flavor way too strong, cookies were bitter and gummy. I'm going to try mixing this batter with a chocolate cookie batter to see if I can save it.
