%20I%20got%20here%20in%20stores%20near%20me.%20I%20also%20tried%20two%20preparation%20methods%20and%20both%20turned%20out%20to%20be%20too%20good%20and%20served%20the%20same%20taste.%20Here%20I%20have%20shared%20both%20the%20preparation%20method,%20try%20the%20one%20which%20is%20sounds%20easier%20for%20you.%20You%20can%20serve%20usal%20with%20pav%20buns%20or%20just%20with%20onions%20and%20some%20chaat%20pooris,%20but%20serving%20with%20pav%20buns%20only%20makes%20the%20dish%20misal%20pav.%20After%20the%20pav%20buns%20were%20over%20I%20had%20it%20with%20chaat%20pooris%20and%20some%20chopped%20onions%20and%20it%20was%20such%20a%20delight.%20So%20try%20this%20way%20too.%20Each%20bite%20had%20all%20flavors%20in%20it,%20the%20chopped%20onions%20and%20farsan%20or%20mixture%20made%20each%20bite%20crunchy,%20the%20usal%20was%20spicy%20whereas%20the%20pav%20buns%20gave%20a%20sweet%20flavor,%20and%20together%20it%20tasted%20so%20delicious,%20I%20loved%20it%20so%20much%20and%20am%20sure%20you%20will%20love%20it%20too.%20Now%20lets%20see%20whats%20required%20and%20how%20to%20prepare%20this%20Maharashtrian%20delight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20take%20this%20white%20peas%20usal%20that%20we%20have%20prepared%20and%20add%20it%20into%20a%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESprinkle%20some%20chopped%20onions,%20chopped%20coriander%20leaves%20and%20finally%20some,%20farsan%20/%20sev%20/%20mixture,%20over%20it%20and%20serve%20immediately%20with%20pav%20buns.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPREPARATION%20METHOD%20-%202%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Both%20the%20preparation%20method%20requires%20the%20same%20ingredients%20but%20only%20the%20order%20of%20adding%20ingredients%20and%20certain%20preparation%20method%20differs)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPressure%20cook%20peas%20as%20I%20have%20said%20in%20my%20previous%20preparation%20method.%20Take%20some%20cooked%20peas%20and%20make%20a%20fine%20paste%20of%20it%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20all%20the%20following%20ingredients%20to%20a%20blender%20and%20make%20a%20smooth%20paste%20out%20of%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(For%20grinding%20into%20paste)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20heat%20a%20pan%20and%20add%203%20spoons%20of%20oil%20into%20it.%20Then%20add%20cumin%20seeds%20and%20let%20it%20splutter,%20now%20add%20the%20ground%20paste%20and%20stir%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20add%20red%20chilli%20powder,%20coriander%20powder,%20turmeric%20powder,%20dry%20mango%20powder,%20garam%20masala%20and%20salt%20and%20mix%20well%20on%20low%20flame.%20Add%20water%20(You%20can%20also%20cook%20water%20leftover%20from%20the%20pressure%20cooked%20peas)%20when%20it%20seems%20to%20thicken.%20Cook%20on%20low%20flame%20until%20the%20raw%20smell%20leaves.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20the%20cooked%20peas%20and%20peas%20paste%20and%20stir%20well.%20Add%20a%20cup%20of%20water%20little%20by%20little%20and%20cook%20until%20the%20gravy%20thickens%20and%20all%20the%20masalas%20blend%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20like%20I%20have%20said%20in%20the%20above%20preparation%20method.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%201:%20You%20can%20use%20sprouted%20peas%20also.%20To%20make%20sprouted%20beans%20just%20soak%20dried%20peas%20in%20water%20overnight.%20The%20next%20morning,%20drain%20and%20discard%20water%20and%20tie%20this%20soaked%20peas%20in%20a%20wet%20cloth%20and%20set%20aside%20for%208%20hours.%20By%20now%20it%20will%20have%20sprouted%20well,%20use%20this%20for%20making%20the%20usal%20(gravy).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%202:%20Making%20a%20paste%20of%20the%20cooked%20peas%20and%20adding%20it%20to%20the%20curry%20makes%20it%20taste%20so%20good.%20Use%20the%20leftover%20water%20that%20you%20have%20got%20from%20pressure%20cooking%20peas%20to%20make%20the%20usal,%20the%20taste%20will%20be%20too%20good.%20But%20this%20can%20make%20you%20bloated%20up%20so%20try%20to%20add%20some%20extra%20cumin%20seeds%20or%20use%20normal%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%203:%20Both%20the%20methods%20gave%20the%20same%20result%20and%20taste.%20So%20you%20can%20try%20any%20of%20the%20above%20preparation%20method.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%204:%20I%20have%20added%20a%20spoon%20of%20red%20chilli%20powder%20to%20make%20it%20spicy%20you%20can%20reduce%20if%20you%20wish.%20Also%20my%20green%20chillies%20were%20bigger%20and%20so%20made%20the%20usal%20spicy,%20so%20check%20for%20the%20spicy%20level%20and%20adjust%20according%20to%20your%20wish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%205:%20You%20can%20also%20drizzle%20some%20lemon%20juice%20just%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%206:%20Sprinkle%20the%20sev%20or%20farsan%20mixture%20just%20before%20serving%20or%20else%20it%20will%20become%20soggy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%207:%20If%20you%20wish%20you%20can%20serve%20the%20white%20peas%20usal%20with%20some%20crunchy%20chaat%20pooris%20instead%20of%20pav%20buns.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP%208:%20You%20can%20also%20butter%20pav%20buns,%20toast%20it%20and%20then%20serve%20with%20usal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EScrumptious%20and%20spicy%20Mumbai%20Street%20Food,%20Misal%20Pav%20is%20now%20ready!!%20I%20loved%20it%20to%20the%20core%20and%20am%20sure%20you%20will%20love%20it%20too!!%20Give%20a%20try%20sometime!
