- Cut spareribs into small chunks and plate in 9 x 13 inch glass casserole dish. Combine in bowl sauce ingredients and pour over spareribs; marinate if you like or possibly cover with saran wrap and microwave at medium 70-80 min, rearranging every 20 min.
- Remove ribs to platter, skim fat from liquid and pour in microwave bowl. Stir together cornstarch and water. Blend into liquid. Microwave high 4 min, stirring every minute till sauce is clear and thickened. Pour over ribs in a serving dish and serve with rice.
