  • This spaghetti dish includes beefy tomato sauce and noodles, all cooked in a single microwave dish. Serves 4.
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. onion, minced
  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 x (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp grnd oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/4 lb spaghetti, uncooked Parmesan cheese, grated

  1. Place butter and onion in 10 inch ceramic skillet. Heat in microwave oven on full power 3 to 4 min, till onion is tender. Add in beef. Cook on full power 4 min, till beef is no longer pink. Stir twice during cooking time. Drain.
  2. Add in salt, pepper, tomato sauce, water, oregano, and basil. Cook, covered, on full power for 4 min. Break spaghetti in half; stir into sauce. Cook, covered, on full power18 to 20 min, till spaghetti is tender; stir 3 times during cooking.
  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving, if you like.
