.%20%20One%20kid%20started%20the%20ice%20cream%20making%20process%20while%20the%20other%20started%20the%20banana%20bread%20(calling%20it%20cake%20for%20this%20event)%20while%20I%20ran%20back%20and%20forth%20between%20them%20both.%20%20The%20kids%20being%20in%20charge%20of%20the%20Birthday%20treats%20is%20a%20tradition%20here.%20%20Both%20treats%20were%20Paleo%20of%20course!!!!%20%20We%20cooked%20up%20a%20NY%20Strip%20Steak%20I%20found%20discounted%20last%20night%20A%20Walmart%20along%20with%20sauteed%20Mushrooms,%20Cauliflower%20Rice%20and%20Broccoli.%20%20Everyone%20CLEANED%20THEIR%20PLATE!%20%20Not%20usual%20for%20my%20house.%20%20I%20guess%20eating%20eggs,%20salad%20and%20snacks%20for%20the%20last%20three%20days%20left%20them%20hungry%20for%20a%20more%20substantial%20meal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20the%20weight%20loss%20front,%20hubs%20lost%2040%20pounds%20total%20so%20far.%20%20I%20lost%2012.%20%20Can%20you%20believe%20we%20managed%20to%20loose%20weight%20even%20while%20on%20vacation?%20%20lol.%20%20Hubs%20one%20upped%20me%20again%20and%20lost%20THREE%20pounds%20over%20vacation.%20%20This%20Paleo%20diet%20really%20does%20decrease%20the%20appetite%20after%20your%20initial%203%20weeks%20and%20add%20to%20the%20fact%20that%20we%20were%20more%20on%20our%20feet%20than%20not%20we%20literally%20were%20walking%20off%20more%20calories%20than%20we%20could%20possibly%20consume.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESummer%20School%20starts%20next%20week%20so%20stick%20around%20this%20week%20while%20I%20try%20and%20figure%20out%20Paleo%20lunches%20for%20the%20kids.%20I%20am%20not%20talking%20about%20earthy%20crunchy%20lunches%20that%20looks%20like%20you%20are%20eating%20stuff%20you%20literally%20hunted%20or%20gathered%20that%20day%20(because%20you%20KNOW%20my%20kids%20would%20not%20eat%20that).%20%20I%20am%20talking%20about%20looks%20just%20like%20junk%20food%20but%20secretly%20good%20for%20you%20lunches.%20%20Onto%20the%20dinner%20plans%20shall%20we?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMonday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFried%20Pork%20Chops,%20Spinach%20&%20Sauteed%20Cabbage%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETuesday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhole%20Baked%20Chicken,%20Mashed%20Cauliflower,%20Broccoli%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWednesday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoasted%20Spaghetti%20Squash%20with%20Bolognese%20Meat%20Sauce%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThursday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENY%20Strip%20Steak,%20Sauteed%20Mushrooms,%20Broccoli%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFriday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeef%20and%20Cabbage%20Stir%20Fry%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaturday%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGreen%20Leaf%20Lettuce%20Tacos%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESunday:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETBD%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
