- Soak the noodles in boiling water for a minute. Drain in a colander and rinse well with cool water. Squeeze off the excess water.
- Slice beef thinly and mix with oyster sauce, soya sauce, pepper and cornflour.
- Heat half a tbsp of oil in a wok and fry the noodles for 5 min, and transfer onto a serving plate.
- Heat 1tbsp of oil and add in the garlic and the seasoned beef and fry for 1 minute. Add in the stock and stir.
- Return the fried noodles and toss until piping warm. Serve warm.
