- In a small bowl combine Bisquick, salt, pepper and paprika mix; reserve leftover mix.
- In skillet cook meat in warm shortening till meat is browned. Add in 1/4 c. water; cover and cook over low heat about 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender. Remove meat from pan. Add in 1 c. water to drippings in pan.
- Stir together 2 Tbsp. of the reserved Bisquick mix and 1/4 c. water. Stir into warm liquid gradually. Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute. To serve, pour warm gravy over meat. Makes 4 servings.
