- Drain clams. Combine egg, lowfat milk and seasonings. Dip clams in egg mix and roll in crumbs. Fry in a basket in deep fat, 350 degrees, for 1 to 2 min or possibly till brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with tartar sauce. Makes 6 servings.
