Ingredients: 2 1/4 c. Flour; 1 1/3 c. Sugar; 3 tsp Baking pwdr; 1 tsp Salt; 1/2 c. Shortening; 1/4 c. Maraschino cherry juice; 16 x Maraschino cherries cut into eighths; 1/2 c. Lowfat milk; 1/2 x TO; 2/3 c. Egg whites, unbeaten 4 large Large eggs; 1/2 c. Minced nuts

Ингредиенты

2 1/4 c. Flour
1 1/3 c. Sugar
3 tsp Baking pwdr
1 tsp Salt
1/2 c. Shortening
1/4 c. Maraschino cherry juice
16 x Maraschino cherries cut into eighths
1/2 c. Lowfat milk
1/2 x TO
2/3 c. Egg whites, unbeaten 4 large Large eggs
1/2 c. Minced nuts

Инструкции

Sift together in mixing bowl flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Add in shortening, cherry juice, cherries and lowfat milk. Mix on slow to medium speed for 2 min. Add in egg whites and continue beating 2 more min. Add in nuts. Bake in two layers in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 min. Ice with 7 minute icing and decorate with cherries.
