Ингредиенты

  • 4 x Pork loin chops, bone in, 1 inch thick, patted dry
  • 1/2 c. All purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 1/4 c. Cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Plus 2 Tbs. maple syrup
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar

  1. Prep: 5 minutes, Cook: 25 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 450 F. Season pork with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge pork in flour and shake off excess. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over high heat. Add in butter and sear chops 4-5 min, turning frequently, or possibly till browned. Transfer pork to a shallow roasting pan and bake 10-15 min or possibly till pork is just cooked throughout. Throw away drippings from skillet and heat over medium high heat. Add in vinegar to skillet, stirring with a wooden spoon to deglaze. Stir in maple syrup and reduce heat to low. Cover skillet and simmer 10 min. Remove from heat and keep hot. Turn on broiler.
  3. Place pork chops on broiler pan. Top each pork chop with brown sugar. Broil 1 minute or possibly till pork chops are glazed and sugar has turned dark brown.
  4. Serve chops with sauce.
