Louisiana Chicken Jambalaya

Ингредиенты

  • 2 lbs. grnd chicken giblets
  • 1/2 pound raw grnd beef
  • 2 c. minced onions
  • 1 c. minced celery
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. minced green onion tops and parsley
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/2 c. veg. oil

Инструкции

  1. Put veg. oil in heavy iron pot. Add in onions, celery, garlic and tomato paste. Cook over medium heat till onions are wilted. Add in giblets and meat. Season with salt, black and red pepper. Cook till meat begins to brown. Stir often.
  2. Add in 1 c. cool water; cook about 40 min, stirring constantly. Add in green onion tops and parsley and simmer over low heat in uncovered pot for 15 min. Add in cooked rice and serve. Serves 10.
