- Combine Marinade ingredients. Mix well. Add in turkey, coating all sides. Cover and refrigeratefor 3 hrs or possibly overnight.
- Place turkey on grill over medium-warm coals. Cover grill and cook 30 min per lb., brushing often with marinade and turning several times. Turkey is done when internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.
- Comments: Turkey cuts suitable for grilling include tenderloins, thighs, breasts and breast steaks, drumsticks and whole turkeys. Use 1/2 c. marinade for each lb. of turkey. Use the marinade only for soaking the meat and not as a dipping sauce. Instead, prepare a double portion of the mix and reserve half of it for the sauce.
