Ингредиенты

  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilli pwdr, (or possibly more according to taste)
  • 2 x 4 1/2 ounce pac TVP chunks or possibly 4 vegetable, crumbled burgers
  • 12 fl ounce Vegetable stock or possibly water, (6floz if using (12 To 15) vegetable burgers)
  • 1 x 14 ounce tin minced tomatoes
  • 1 x 14 ounce tin red kidney beans
  • 2 x Mexican green chillies in brine, liquid removed and minced (optional) Salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste

Инструкции

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and saute/fry the onion till golden.
  2. Add in the chilli pwdr and TVP chunks and brown for 5 min.
  3. Add in the vegetable stock and tomatoes, together with their juice. Cover and simmer for 20 min.
  4. Add in the kidney beans - and the chillies if you are using them - and simmer for about 15 min, adding a little extra stock or possibly water if necessary.
  5. Season to taste and serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes or possibly avocado salad.
