Ингредиенты

  • 3 lb Great Northern beans canned
  • 2 lb Chicken breast, skin bone
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 2 med Onions minced
  • 2 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Grnd oregano
  • 2 can Mild green chilies (4oz each) minced
  • 4 c. Chicken stock or possibly broth
  • 20 ounce Monterey Jack grated Lowfat sour cream Canned jalapenos minced

  1. Place chicken in large sauce pan. Add in cool water to cover and bring to simmer. Cook till tender, approximately 15 to 20 min. Remove from saucepan and dice into 1/2" cubes. Using the same pan throw away water and heat oil over medium heat. Add in onions till translucent/soft. Stir in garlic, chilies, cumin, cayenne pepper, oregano and cloves. Saute/fry for 2 to 3 min.
  2. Add in chicken, beans, stock and 12 ounce cheese; let simmer for 15 min. Laddle into large bowls and top with 1 ounce chese. Serve with a side of lowfat sour cream and minced jalapeno peppers.
