Ingredients: 3/4 c. Cocoa pwdr; 1/2 tsp Baking soda; 1/3 c. Butter, plus; 1/3 c. Melted butter, (separate); 1/2 c. Boiling water; 2 c. Sugar; 2 x Large eggs slightly beaten; 1 1/3 c. Flour; 1 tsp Vanilla; 1/4 tsp Salt; 1 c. Mini semisweet chocolate chips

3/4 c. Cocoa pwdr
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/3 c. Butter, plus
1/3 c. Melted butter, (separate)
1/2 c. Boiling water
2 c. Sugar
2 x Large eggs slightly beaten
1 1/3 c. Flour
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt
1 c. Mini semisweet chocolate chips

Whenever there is a special occasion in school, my children are told and not "asked" to bring these brownies to school for everyone.I really don`t remember where the recipe is from, I`ve been making it for so long.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease or possibly spray 9 x 13 pan. MIX BY HAND (don't use mixer!!) Sift together cocoa & baking soda. Add in 1/3 c. melted butter. Add in boiling water & mix till it thickens. Stir in sugar, Large eggs, & 1/3 c. butter till smooth. Add in flour, salt & vanilla & blend completely.Don't BEAT! Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350` for 35 min. Cold completely in pan on rack.
