- 1 whl chicken
- 1 stalk of celery, (up to 3)
- 1 x Onions, (up to 2)
- 1 x Heads of garlic, (Lots! but it will be wonderful) (up to 3)

- I rinse the chicken and pat it dry. Then I chop the celery in pcs about an inch long and quarter the onions. Stuff the chicken with the onion, celery, and garlic. I do not use salt but you can add in some if desired. I put it in my crockpot and turn it on low. About 4 hrs later it is done and smells wonderful. You can use the broth as the base of a gravy if desired. After 5 hrs it is still wonderful. After 6 hrs it will be falling apart. Mom likes to take the garlic which has been cooked inside the chicken and use it on her bread or possibly biscuits instead of butter.
