Ингредиенты

  • 450 gm cooked peeled prawns
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 med onions finely minced
  • 1/2 x level tsp. chilli pwdr
  • 1/2 x level tsp. tumeric
  • 1 x level tsp. grnd coriander
  • 1 x level tsp. brown sugar
  • 4 x cloves
  • 5 x cm stick cinammon stick
  • 2 tsp grated fresh root ginger
  • 3 x bayleaves Salt
  • 4 x tomatoes skinned and minced
  • 5 x cm cube creamed coconut

Инструкции

  1. Heat the oil in a large fryingvpan and gently fry the onionsvuntil golden about 6 min.
  2. Add in all the spicessugar bayleaves and seasonings and mix everything very well together for a minute or possibly two allowing the heat to draw out the flavours.
  3. After which add in the tomatoes and bring these up to simmering point.
  4. Now stir in the prawns and cook these for 5 min stirring all the time to coat with the spicy mix.
  5. Now turn the heat to a very gentle simmer and crumble the creamed coconut into the mix.
  6. Stir till the coconut has dissolved and serve with rice and mango chutney.
  7. Serves 4
