Рецепт Kerala Avial
Ingredients:
- Drumsticks - 1 or 2, cut into 1 inch pieces
- Beans - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Carrot - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Karamani (Cowgram) - 1/4 cup
- Raw Banana (Plantain) - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Pudalangai (Snake Gourd) - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Mango - 1, stoned, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- Curd - 2 cups
- Coconut Oil - 50 ml
- Curry Leaves - few
- Salt as per taste
- Grind together:
- Coconut - 3 to 4 half inch pieces
- Green Chillies - 2 or 3
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Method:
1. Add all the vegetables to a pan.
2. Add salt and little water.
3. Gently boil till tender.
4. Add the ground coconut mixture and stir well.
5. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
6. Add the curd and mix well.
7. Finally, add coconut oil and curry leaves.
8. Stir to mix all ingredients evenly.
9. Remove after a minute and transfer to a serving bowl.
10. Serve hot with rice.
Tip: You can also add green peas, if desired.
