%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20been%20sitting%20for%20the%20past%20ten%20minutes,%20trying%20to%20write%20a%20post.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20can't.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToo%20many%20things%20on%20my%20mind.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20days%20are%20rushed;%20loads%20of%20chores%20to%20be%20done%20with.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESettling%20down%20feels%20difficult.%20My%20mind%20is%20still%20in%20Amritsar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20jovial%20people;%20the%20wonderful%20food;%20the%20beautiful%20mustard%20fields.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20can't%20get%20over%20the%20wonderful%20days%20I%20spent%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20now%20it%20has%20be%20back%20to%20reality.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20am%20facing%20a%20block.%20Can't%20write%20anything.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20have%20to%20make%20second%20post%20on%20my%20travel%20blog%20and%20that%20too%20is%20stuck.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I'll%20just%20go%20ahead%20with%20the%20recipe%20of%20this%20simple%20jhol%20that%20I%20made%20a%20few%20weeks%20ago.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20days%20when%20I%20do%20not%20have%20the%20time%20or%20energy%20to%20lay%20a%20proper%20table%20and%20click%20a%20proper%20photograph.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20in%20the%20hurry,%20when%20a%20certain%20dish%20turns%20out%20good,%20I%20know%20I%20have%20to%20share%20it%20with%20my%20readers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20when%20this%20jhol%20came%20out%20so%20beautifully%20light%20yet%20flavourful,%20I%20had%20to%20make%20a%20post%20on%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20not%20for%20others,%20at%20least%20for%20my%20own%20self.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20I%20rustle%20up%20things%20on%20the%20go%20and%20forget%20the%20recipe%20later.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I%20clicked%20a%20few%20hurried%20photos%20and%20here%20they%20are.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20apologise%20of%20they%20are%20not%20too%20appealing.%20But%20this%20jhol%20will%20appeal%20to%20you.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%20I%20know%20for%20sure.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENeed%20:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFresh%20coriander%20leaves%20-%20chopped%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20to%20:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20oil%20in%20a%20heavy%20bottomed%20kadahi%20/%20wok.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20it%20reaches%20smoking%20point,%20slide%20in%20the%20fish%20and%20fry%20well%20on%20low%20heat%20till%20both%20sides%20are%20well%20browned.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20and%20keep%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20oil,%20add%20the%20green%20cardamom%20+%20cinnamon%20+%20whole%20red%20chillies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20ad%20the%20chopped%20onion.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFry%20well%20on%20low%20heat%20till%20the%20onion%20starts%20to%20brown%20slightly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20the%20ginger%20paste%20+%20garlic%20paste%20+%20turmeric%20+%20red%20chilli%20powder%20+%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFry%20well%20till%20the%20masala%20turns%20dry%20and%20oil%20starts%20to%20leave%20the%20sides.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20chopped%20tomatoes%20and%20fry%20till%20they%20turn%20soft%20and%20mushy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20%20water.%20Check%20for%20salt%20and%20add%20if%20necessary.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBring%20to%20a%20boil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20the%20cut%20potatoes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(%20If%20you%20want%20to,%20you%20can%20fry%20the%20potatoes%20first%20and%20then%20add%20now.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20do%20not.%20)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20and%20cook%20till%20the%20potatoes%20are%20done.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20the%20fish%20+%20coriander%20leaves.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20and%20simmer%20for%20around%20ten%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20heat%20and%20serve%20hot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGoes%20best%20with%20steamed%20rice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
