Ингредиенты

  • 4-5 c. all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 (9 ounce) box one-layer white cake mix (Jiffy mix is what I use)
  • 2 (1/4 ounce) pkg. quick-rise yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. hot (120 to 130 degrees) water
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 T cinnamon

  1. In a large mixing bowl, put together 3 cups flour, cake mix, yeast, salt and warm water; mix till smooth. Add in sufficient remaining flour to create a soft dough. Turn out onto a floured surface; knead till smooth, about 6-8 min. Roll dough into a 9x18 inch rectangle. Spread with butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.Roll dough jelly-roll style, starting with long end. Slice the roll into 1-inch circles; place on greased cookie sheets. Cover and let rise in a warm place till doubled, about 15-30 min. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 min. Frost, if you like. Yields: 18 rolls.
  2. My family loves these. They are so easy to make. Although if you make them on Sunday morning, I have to get up at 6:30 just to get it mixed up, raised and bake to allow sufficient time to be ready to leave for church by 9:00.
