Ингредиенты

  • 1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1 sm onion minced
  • 1 x green bell pepper minced
  • 1/4 tsp dry basil crumbled
  • 1 can tomatoes liquid removed, minced (14 1/2-oz) Salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb haddock or possibly lingcod fillets
  • 2 c. grated mozzarella

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9-inch glass baking dish. Heat butter in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add in onion, bell pepper and basil and saute/fry till vegetables are tender, about 10 min. Stir in tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and cook till saucelike, stirring constantly, about 5 min. Arrange fish in prepared dish. Pour sauce over. Sprinkle mozzarella. Bake till fish is cooked through and top is golden brown, about 25 min.
