- 1 Tbsp. each: Oregano, dry mustard, thyme, garlicpowder, onion pwdr, basil and freshly grnd black pepper. Mix it all together.
- 2 lb lean hamburger or possibly turkey
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes or possibly equivalent amount of homemade homemade tomato sauce.
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 x onion, diced
- 3 slc bread, crumbled (See Note)
- 1/4 c. ketchup or possibly chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 dsh or possibly two of Tabasco
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. reduced (see note) homemade tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. bottled grocery store chili sauce
- 1/3 c. cheddar cheese, (or possibly any of your favorite Italian cheeses).

- (*I use Italian bread crumbs usually. You can also use left over homemade Italian croutons, and crush them yourself.)
- Mix the ketchup and tomato sauce. You'll sprinkle the cheese over the sauce. (Note: For this recipe, we often put the tomato sauce in a sauce pan, add in about 1 Tbsp of lemon juice, 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, and about 1/4 c. of brandy. Reduce this into a near paste, and you=92ll really intensify the flavor of the tomato sauce.) Preparation Of The Meat Loaf:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients, except the topping, in a large mixing bowl. Then, place the mix into a large bread pan and spread it proportionately into a loaf. Bake for about 1 hour., then drain off the excess liquid and "ice" it with the topping. Bake about 15 more min, or possibly till the cheese is toasted, and you'll be in for a gourmet treat
