- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lb trimmed boneless beef chuck cut 3/4"-thk chunks
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 lrg onion coarsely minced
- 1 can beef broth - (14 1/2 ounce)
- 1 can stewed tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce)
- 1 env Good Seasons Garlic & Herb Salad Dressing Mix
- 3 med potatoes cut 3/4" chunks
- 3 med carrots cut 1/2" pcs Warm cooked noodles Minced fresh parsley (optional)
Инструкции
- Heat oil in 5-qt saucepot on medium-high heat. Coat meat with flour; add in to saucepot. Cook and stir on medium heat till tender. Stir in broth, tomatoes and salad dressing mix. Bring to boil stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 min.
- Add in potatoes and carrots; cover. Simmer an additional 30 min. Remove cover; simmer 15 min or possibly till meat is tender and sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon over noodles. Sprinkle with minced fresh parsley, if you like.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Comments: Recipe can be doubled, using 8-qt saucepot.
